Kid Cruz stands in the Belmont winner's circle after defeating eight other three-year-olds in race 2, the Easy Goer Stakes. The Linda Rice-trained colt finished 8th three weeks earlier in the Preakness Stakes.

A four-year-old gelding by Purim, Undrafted is trained by Wesley Ward.
After a difficult trip and a 9th-place finish in the Preakness Stakes, Bayern wins the Woody Stephens Stakes, a seven-furlong contest for three-year-olds.
His rider this time is Gary Stevens.
Sweet Reason (left), Irad Ortiz Jr. up, wins the 84th running of the Grade I Acorn, one mile for three year old fillies. Sweet Whiskey, right, was second.
Sweet Reason, a daughter of 2007 Kentucky Derby winner Street Sense, is trained by Leah Gyarmati.

A son of 2007 and 2008 horse of the year Curlin, Palace Malice is trained by Todd Pletcher and owned by Cot Campbell's Dogwood Stable.
